14 DAY TRIAL // Jennifer Lawrence has had a pretty good year in 2013, rising to international fame, as well as giving some memorable performances in movies that made the Oscar list. She has the perfect mixture of appeal to the masses and acting talent for serious roles.
However, she might not be the perfect woman that the media makes her out to be. According to Us Weekly, the actress came clean about her wild night at the Oscars during a taping of the Late Night with Seth Meyers Show, which will be airing on May 21.
Luckily for us, one of the members in the audience spilled the details to the press and it sounds like Jennifer had quite a lot to drink, being admonished by the party girl herself, Miley Cyrus. As the story goes, Jen got so wasted after she lost out to Lupita Nyong'o that she became sick at one of the after parties and actually threw up in public.
“Jen said she was so drunk, she puked on the stairs at Madonna's after-party, and Miley walked by and said something like, ‘Get it together, girl!’” said the audience member. Now you know that's a party when Miley herself tells you to pull it together.
Jennifer is known for her award show antics that have landed her on the front page of newspapers many times before. She has fallen down stumbling on several occasions and she's also photobombed every chance she got.
The 23-year-old actress has made a name for herself and it seems that she lived up to that name on the night of the Oscar ceremony which she attended with her best friend Laura Simpson. In true Lawrence style, she also dished some details about some of her experience on the red carpet.
The most interesting things she had to say were about running into Brad Pitt and noticing that he smelled like sandalwood. Pitt was at the Oscars to support co-star Lupita Nyongo'o for her role in the movie “12 Years a Slave.”
Her friend Simpson recalled that Lawrence darted for the bar the first chance she got after she learned that she lost her Oscar. “Her dad and I decide to hit the bar and just watch from the monitor behind the bar and slam a few drinks to make this tolerable. The Academy really needs to spring for more hors d'oeuvres options because now everyone is hammered,” Simpson wrote in a blog post.
