14 DAY TRIAL // Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence is the latest female celebrity to opt for something a bit more drastic for her next hairdo. As you can see for yourself in the two photos attached to this article, she is now rocking a cute and absolutely fabulous pixie.
Because she’s incredibly talented, relatable, and overall a world of fun, Jennifer Lawrence is a favorite among celebrities so, yes, whenever she does something to her hair, she makes headlines. Anyone else part of one of the biggest movie franchises of our times, “The Hunger Games,” would probably do so too.
Jennifer Lawrence showed off her new ‘do, of which she said it was a necessary evil, at a Yahoo! event that she documented on Facebook. The reaction to the first photo she posted of herself with it, which is also the first pic in this article, was epic.
She explained at the event that she had to cut her hair because it was at an “awkward” length and because it was “fried” from all the dyeing. Before that, Jennifer joked that she cut her hair to spite Francis Lawrence, the director of “Catching Fire,” the second installment in the “Hunger Games” franchise, which comes out on November 22.
However, not all fans were thrilled with the change because, as they made sure to let Jennifer know, they thought she had the most gorgeous and healthy-looking hair around. Plus, they told her, the long hair made her more feminine – a highly debatable argument, we might add.
Of course, there were many who praised Jennifer on her new look, saying the shorter hair took something from her trademark sweetness and gave her some edge.
Though she’s been very active on Facebook because of the aforementioned event and because, obviously, she’s in the midst of a movie promo tour, Jennifer is yet to address her fans’ reaction to her new haircut.
