In April this year, singer and actress Jennifer Hudson announced she’d teamed up with Weight Watchers in a bit to live a healthier life and lose some weight. The second ad is out now – and she seems to have achieved her goal.

The singer, who has always been on the curvy side, said that she joined the program because she needed to change her eating habits – and her lifestyle, in general.

Losing weight was just a happy and much welcome consequence of that, but not her main goal, she pointed out.

The first ad for Weight Watchers was premiered at the same time the announcement was made and it showed she’d already lost some weight.

The second one, out a short while ago, shows an even slimmer and more fabulous Jennifer talking about how the program taught her to change “I can’t” for “I can.”

“Before Weight Watchers, my whole life was ‘can’t’... I can and so can you,” the star says into the camera, before starting to explain how the program is more than just a diet.

The star sees the program as a means to overhaul one’s life by promoting healthy eating and lots of exercise, while also offering the necessary support to make the changes seem easier.

Since she went on Weight Watchers, Jennifer has dropped from a US size 16 (UK size 20) to a size 6 (UK size 10) and is in the best shape of her life.

However, she assured fans earlier this year in the makeover issue of InStyle Magazine, she’s determined not to lose more weight because she doesn’t want to be a stick thin celebrity.

“I don’t want to lose any more weight, and you’re never going to see me skinny. I think this is a good, natural size for me,” the star said at the time, as we also informed you.

“I didn’t expect to go as far as I did! People are like, ‘Okay Jennifer don’t lose anything else!’” she said of people’s first reaction when seeing her after she started losing weight.
