14 DAY TRIAL // Recent rumors have been saying that singer and Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Hudson is a member of the Illuminati, that super secret power group trying to take over the world. In a recent interview, the singer addresses the rumors – and sets the record straight.
Speaking on Ustream, Jennifer went out of her way to rubbish the rumor, pointing out that it’s completely stupid to assume that, just because she’s successful, she’s an Illuminati member, Rap-Up informs.
She also says that those who choose to believe that by joining some cult you’re guaranteed success and fame are being mislead.
“I’m so glad someone brought this Illuminati mess up because only a child of God would address it. That is the most ignorant thing I have ever heard in my life,” Jennifer begins by saying.
Saying that she’s a member of Illuminati equals saying she didn’t work at all to have what she has today – multiple awards, critical acclaim, a loyal fanbase, money.
“And it’s offensive because basically what? The people that are here today don’t deserve to be where they are? What, we didn’t work for it? So I find – and I hate to go there – but I find it’s those that can’t make it that would probably join Illuminati, or whoever that is, to get somewhere,” the singer says.
She then goes on to say that people should always try to make it on their own, because no one else will help them get where they want to get.
“Don’t listen to that type of stuff, don’t follow that stuff because those people are only luring you in to become a part of some mess like that, so know that you’re only falling victim,” Hudson explains.
“That’s their way of gaining [followers]. I’d advise you to stay away from it. Those who are reading it are falling into it. It could not be more untrue,” the singer says.
Hudson is not only one celebrity to be linked in the press with the Illuminati. Jay Z, Kanye West and Lady Gaga are also believed to have joined the cult.
