14 DAY TRIAL // Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck will soon be parents for the third time. A spokesperson for the actress has already confirmed the happy news: the couple’s two adorable daughters will be welcoming another sibling soon.
Despite reports that their marriage has reached a dead end because of his gambling addiction, which is again spinning out of control, or because Jennifer Lopez wants a reconciliation after so many years, Ben and Garner are still going strong.
At least, that’s what one can infer from the pregnancy announcement.
“The couple, who are parents to two daughters – Violet, 5½, and Seraphina, 2½ – are ‘thrilled’ to be expecting their third child,” People magazine reports.
Further details are not available right now, with the two choosing to keep them under wraps for the time being.
Fans know that both Ben and Jennifer have often spoken out on the joys of parenthood and how much they enjoy being able to spend as much time with the family as possible, so one can only imagine how happy they are.
News of the pregnancy should also put to rest reports that Ben is thinking about getting back with his former flame, JLo, who reportedly turned to him for consolation in the aftermath of the demise of her marriage to Marc Anthony.
The latest on the (tabloid-imagined) love triangle had it that Garner was fighting tooth and nail to keep Lopez away from her husband, with whom she’d worked so hard to build such an adorable family.
“Garner is telling friends she will fight like hell to keep her family intact and JLo out of Ben’s life. Garner doesn’t believe that JLo and her husband should have anything to talk about now – especially since ‘they parted in a very unfriendly manner,’ says a source,” Star Magazine wrote, as we also reported at the time.
