Ever since word got out that Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux got engaged after 16 months of dating, the tabloids and the paparazzi have been on this genuine ring “hunt,” to see who is the first to spot the bauble on the star's hand. They might have some trouble with that, suggests a new report.

The ring that Justin picked for Jennifer, which he is believed to have helped design, is rather on the small side so, if she's really planning to hide it from the paparazzi, she will probably have no problem doing it.

Still, size doesn't matter for the stunning actress, Us Weekly writes in its latest print issue (story via CB).

“The actress, 43, has been proudly flaunting the understated ring her fiancé, Justin Theroux, designed and proposed with on August 10,” the publication says.

This comes shortly on the heels of reports saying she'd been trying to hide the ring on outings made post-announcement by turning it on her finger, to have the rock in the palm of her hand, which, in turn, prompted some talk that she was doing so in order to reveal it in some magazine exclusive.

That couldn't be farther from the truth, an insider insists: even though the ring isn't “huge,” Jen isn't hiding it from the world because she's very happy with the direction her life has taken.

“She’s been very happy and girlie about it. [The ring is] pretty but not that huge,” says a source.

Plus, Aniston is convinced that Justin is “the one for her”: it's in the stars, as they say.

“Jen is really into astrology. Justin is a Leo, which she thinks is a good match for her. [He] is the rock she needs in her life. [Brad Pitt, her ex-husband] did not match with her in that sense,” another source is quoted as saying.

As of now, Jennifer and Justin are yet to set a wedding date.
