14 DAY TRIAL // Their public appearances have caused quite a frenzy with the tabloids before, and they weren’t even doing anything in particular on the red carpet. One can only imagine the stories the tabs will be coming up with next given how Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler acted the other night at the London premiere of “The Bounty Hunter.”
For what it’s worth, Jen and Gerry make a wonderful rumored couple, with the actress dazzling in a shimmering silver mini and matching sandals, while he kept it casual in a striped gray suit, as the Daily Mail can confirm. The two, aside from looking their usual drop-dead gorgeous selves, also hugged, cuddled and made fun of rumors of something romantic going on between them, much to the delight of the media representatives gathered at the premiere of the hyped action film.
Yet, it was how great they looked together that got people talking again, with some even taking to the blogosphere to say that, if they’re not an item, they should be because it’s a shame of how wonderfully they compliment each other. Case in point: they even color-coordinated on the red carpet. Butler chose a Gucci “Signoria” suit almost in the same shade as Jennifer’s Valentino mini-dress. Because she couldn’t have possibly braved the cold in that only, Aniston also wore an Alexander McQueen tuxedo jacket, accessorized with Jimmy Choo sandals, Fred Leighton jewels and a Ferragamo clutch.
Speaking of working together, neither of the stars could stop gushing about the other’s many merits. “We have a blast together and she appreciates that Celtic manner. There’s nothing diva-ish about her, she’s very down to earth, very sure of herself and who she is, and I’m like a little kid, who doesn’t take myself too seriously. We had a fun script and a great director, so we just had to dive in and it was a blast,” Gerard told reporters on the red carpet.
Jennifer was even more straight to the point than this, saying, “I love my Gerry. We just lucked out – director fantastic, Gerry fantastic, our crew, New York – you just can’t go wrong.”
