For years, Jennifer Aniston has been dodging the pregnancy question with “if it happens, it happens,” but a new report suggests she and fiancé Justin Theroux have decided to not leave things up to chance anymore and find a surrogate to carry and give birth to their first child together.

According to insiders speaking with The National Enquirer, the idea came to Jennifer after speaking with Nicole Kidman, who welcomed her second daughter with Keith Urban via surrogacy. The tab claims the two are very “close” and Nicole is even counseling Jennifer on the necessary steps.

Admittedly, for years Aniston had been thinking about surrogacy but, until she got into the details of it with Nicole, she hadn’t seriously considered it as a viable method for her to start a family.

Now, both she and Justin are determined this is a way to go, especially since her biological clock is ticking fast.

“She and Justin have decided surrogacy is right for them, and they’re looking to find the ideal candidate by summertime at the latest. They’re both incredibly excited to become parents and realize that bringing a baby into the world is the biggest commitment they’ll ever make. They’ve been getting tons of advice from friends, and Nicole has been enormously helpful,” says an insider.

“Jen has always said she’s not in a rush to have children, and surrogacy gives her time to prepare for the baby’s birth without going through the stress of a pregnancy. She isn’t hung up over another woman being involved, because she believes that bringing another life into the world through any method is such a magical experience in itself,” the tipster continues.

Both Jennifer and Justin are said to be thrilled by the idea they’re about to become first-time parents, but Aniston is keeping her head straight and is approaching the matter in a “very level-headed manner.”

The tab doesn’t say whether the two actors are also planning on tying the knot anytime soon, or whether they’re too focused on parenthood to be making wedding plans right now.
