Though reports in the media paint a very depressing picture of what her love life looks every day, the average Joes and Janes still don’t understand how anyone could dump Jennifer Aniston, voting her the most eligible single woman in the world.

The long list of disastrous romantic liaisons (as per reports) begins with former husband Brad Pitt and ends with a co-star on “Cougar Town,” who bluntly rejected her advances, Us Magazine says.

Yet, people still consider Aniston one of the most gorgeous and wonderful women on the face of the planet, the publication informs.

“She’s been rejected by Brad Pitt, Vince Vaughn, John Mayer and, most recently, Cougar Town star Josh Hopkins. And apparently most men and women don’t understand why,” the mag writes.

60 Minutes and Vanity Fair conducted a poll on the fans – and determined that 29 percent of them considered the 41-year-old star the most eligible of the lot.

“The star (who nabbed 29 percent of the votes) was followed by Halle Berry (21 percent); Elin Nordegren (15 percent); Betty White (11 percent); Lady Gaga (5 percent) and Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States, Elena Kagan (4 percent),” Us Magazine says.

While the tabs continue to print stories about how desperate Aniston is to find love, get married and have children, she has always said that she can’t even begin to understand where such stories may have originated.

For instance, she once told Vogue magazine that the whole “poor Jen” thing often gets her mad because she’s “right where [she] wants to be,” both in her career and her love life.

Before that, while speaking to Elle magazine, she said that, if she is a model for the “lonely girl,” then she can only wish all lonely women out there were as happy and accomplished as she was.

"I’m not going to ignore the pink elephant in the living room. It’s fine. I can take it. If I’m the emblem for ‘this is what it looks like to be the lonely girl getting on with her life,’ so be it,” Aniston said, as we also informed you at the time.

“I support women, men, anybody who is in a place that’s not their strongest and who is ready to push forward,” she added.
