14 DAY TRIAL // Outside her acting credits, Jennifer Aniston is perhaps most famous for her gorgeous hair and her impeccable style whatever the occasion. You see none of that in her now, after undergoing a serious makeunder for a new role.
Aniston is now shooting “Cake” in Los Angeles, a movie which also stars Sam Worthington and Anna Kendrick, and in which she plays Claire, the leading character.
“A grieving mother suffering from chronic pain in the aftermath of a fatal car accident finds an unlikely source of inspiration,” reads the synopsis of the film. It explains why Aniston is sporting a large facial scar in the photo above, snapped by the paparazzi hanging out on the movie set.
More photos are available at the Daily Mail, offering a good look at Aniston’s makeunder. Not only is she wearing dowdy clothes, but she also appears to have dyed her bobbed hair a plain shade of brown. Makeup too is different (in the sense that it’s almost lacking) from how Aniston usually gets it done, be it in movies or in public appearances.
This is the second film in a row for which Jennifer is getting a makeunder (the other one is “Squirrel to the Nuts” and is still in post-production), so there might be some truth to those reports saying she’s going against her pretty girl image to prove her acting chops go beyond silly rom-coms.
Both “Cake” and “Squirrel” come out in 2015, so we’ll see then how that’s working out for her.
