Those break-up rumors surrounding the famous couple of Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux just gained a whole lot of credibility. The famous actress did not have her fiancé by her side on the day she celebrated her 45th birthday.

It would only be normal that two people who are engaged to be married should spend a birthday together, but in Jennifer's case, she opted for a quiet night out on the town with a couple of close friends.

A source tells Us Weekly that Jennifer was spotted in an LA restaurant with her agent Todd Shermarya, Tobey Maguire's wife, Jen Meyer, and her best friend Courteney Cox. The big absent at the event is definitely her significant other, the man she's supposed to wed at some point in time, Justin Theroux.

The source adds that “it was all her friends” present on the scene for a “mellow, fun dinner” and that Jennifer seemed “happy” to be there.

While Jennifer was busy celebrating the fact that she now gets to add another year to her age, Justin was on the opposite coast of the continental United States, in New York City, where he was hitting the town with recently single actor Orlando Bloom.

This gives some credibility to the rumors that the two actors have been living completely different lives for some time now, despite the image they're trying to project, that of a happy couple.

Regardless, it's been a while since Jen and Justin have been spotted together in public. In fact, they have yet to make an appearance together this year. When Justin showed up last week at the funeral of Philip Seymour Hoffman in New York, Jennifer was nowhere to be seen.

Again, a funeral is generally a big enough deal that requires both members of the couple to be present. The only explanation would be that the certain two in question are not a couple anymore.
