14 DAY TRIAL // The Muscles from Brussels may be older but he’s still got the moves that made him famous. 54-year-old Jean-Claude Van Damme stopped by Conan O’Brien the other night to promote his latest movie, “Pound of Flesh,” and he recreated the famous dancing scene from “Kickboxer,” which came out in 1989.

Conan even arranged for two extras to be on set, so they could interrupt JCVD’s smooth dancing, just like it happened in the original movie. The only thing that happened in the original but doesn’t here is Van Damme doing the splits: either because he can’t anymore or because of those tight jeans, the more likely option, he refrained from doing this move.
Fans of the original movie must know that the actor is now shooting a sequel, which he counts as the second film. There is actually a second “Kickboxer” film, called “The Road Back,” but it’s with Sasha Mitchell as lead, so naturally, JCVD will not include it in the count.
Van Damme says “Kickboxer 2” will be “a cool movie” because it includes “good actors” like Dave Bautista, Georges St-Pierre and Alain Moussi.
As a bonus, I will also include with this post the trailer for “Pound of Flesh,” which was released last Friday. It’s a movie about some dumb dudes who steal JCVD’s kidney and he goes after them. Seriously, no one steals kidneys from Van Damme and lives to tell the story!
