14 DAY TRIAL // Yes, you've read that right, Beyonce's sister, Solange, actually attacked Jay Z in an elevator after the Met Gala and there is video proof of the scuffle which left Jay Z pretty worse for wear, but only because he wouldn't fight back.
Nor would Beyonce for that matter, but she didn't flinch when her sister went crazy as soon as the elevator doors closed. She began screaming at Jay and immediately moved up to punching and kicking, as another man, presumably a bodyguard, tried to restrain her.
But even with the massive bodyguard blocking her way, Solange still managed to let three or four hits on Jay, and even a kick. Finally, the rapper can be seen catching her leg before a kick and probably trying to calm her down.
Since the video surveillance from the elevator doesn't have any audio, we can't really say what the fight was about, but it's really weird that Beyonce wouldn't try to calm her sister down as she proceeded to beat the living hell out of her husband who was obviously struggling to not hit back.
While all of this is going on, you can see the bodyguard hitting the emergency stop button, presumably trying to give the family the intimacy they need. Imagine the storm that would have ensued when the doors opened and Solange was pummeling Jay under Beyonce's passive gaze.
Something must have gotten Solange flipping mad because she even throws a hit with her purse at one point, spilling its contents on the elevator floor. As the bodyguard created a barrier between the two combatants, you can see Solange is still very mad and she's shouting at Jay from beyond the guard's shoulders.
Too bad they forgot about the surveillance video that was just leaked to TMZ and now is out there for the entire world to see. Solange has got some explaining to do.
In a video taken outside the hotel where the scuffle went down, Jay Z can be seen getting into a separate car from Beyonce and Solange as the paparazzi were snapping away furiously at them and shouting.
He is directed by the same bodyguard that protected him in the elevator to a car that doesn't have Solange in it, probably to prevent any furthers attacks. Can you imagine the damage the furious sister would have done in the tight confines of a car's interior? Maybe even Beyonce would have caught a right hook with her face.
As the whole world watches this recording in shock, two big questions arise: what could have ticked Solange off so bad that she snapped at Jay the way she did, and why didn't Beyonce jump in to calm her sister and defend her husband?
