14 DAY TRIAL // Many people who saw Beyonce's electrifying performance at the 2014 VMAs confirmed yet again that she was the queen of the entertainment business and that it was going to take a lot more than a couple of rumors to throw her out of her usual form.
Some may have even shed a tear when it was time for Beyonce to accept her Video Vanguard Award, because the person who presented it to her was none other than husband Jay Z, the very person she was rumored to be divorcing from.
The icing on the cake was that he came with their daughter Blue Ivy in his arms and had him give her the Moonman in what was a very emotional moment. Beyonce could not help herself to shed a tear as she kissed both Jay Z and Blue Ivy, who mumbled something in the lines of “good job, mommy” into the microphone.
Truly a Hallmark moment, but Celebdirtylaundry claims it's all a PR stunt, one that is going to throw most of the media off the scent and make it stop searching for clues and reasons why Jay and Bey are no longer seeing eye to eye.
The rumor is supported by the fact that Beyonce and Jay were seated apart from Solange, Beyonce's sister, the one who started all of this divorce scandal when she lashed out at Jay in a New York hotel elevator while Beyonce did nothing.
It's hard to believe that months of rumors and speculations can be erased with just a happy moment on live television that could have very well been orchestrated in advance. Let's remember that each time the rumors got stronger, the couple conveniently posed a photo on social media, hinting at marital bliss, as if to contradict said rumors.
From sleeping in separate hotel rooms, not talking at all anymore and having some very cold moments on stage together, the couple magically transforms into this very tight-knit family, the ideal image of a dynasty of performers, just like we all imagine them in our heads to be.
With a flick of the wrist and a wave of the PR magic wand, gone were all the rumors that Jay Z cheated on Beyonce with just about every female singer he had collaborated here (Rihanna, Rita Ora or Mya) and also all the rumors that Beyonce has been filling the space in her bed with longtime bodyguard Julius De Boer.
Why go through so much trouble to avoid the divorce rumors? Simple, it all comes down to money, millions and millions of it.
