Model and rapper claims she didn’t sleep with Jay but he probably still wants her

Beyonce has been using her music to address some of the rumors about the state of her marriage to Jay Z, and as it turns out, this method also works the other way around. LIV is a model and rapper from Chicago whose name has been linked to Jay Z in the tabloid media – and she just released a new track called “Sorry Mrs. Carter.”

Mrs. Carter is Beyonce, in case you didn’t know, as Jay’s real name is Shawn Corey Carter. So this track is actually of LIV, a supposed mistress of the rapper, apologizing to Beyonce.

Hold up, hold up!

First of all, you can listen to the full track below, but *please note that discretion is advised when doing so because it contains graphic language that might offend.

Secondly, LIV claims she never slept with Jay Z, which brings us to the question: what is she apologizing for?

Apparently, she’s apologizing to Beyonce because she’s “for real” and because, even though she turned down Jay’s romantic advances, he probably still wants her and is still thinking of her. Basically, she’s apologizing to Beyonce for being so amazing that not even Jay could resist her and, at the same time, for breaking the sad news to her that her hubby is a cheat. Or a wannabe-cheat, more like it.

“The man? He likes model chicks. He likes all naturally flawless model chicks, like me,” LIV raps to the melody from Outkast’s “Sorry Mrs. Jackson.” “Jigga man, I don’t care if you rap, you got to R-E-S-P-E-C-T,” she continues, “You got 99 problems, I’m not tryin’ to be one.”

Towards the end of the song, she even goes off on Beyonce, trying to tell her that she should be more of a role model for her fans. “Why don’t you tell these girls how to be wives? Why don’t tell these girls how to act around yo’ husband?” LIV raps.

She makes it clear though: Jay Z hit on her and she turned him down, because she’s not that kind of a girl. Still, if she wanted him, she could have him any second because he was smitten with her.

The official music video seems to have been shot in her apartment, with no professional equipment at all. LIV raps leaning against a window, gets whimsical in a pool, and does her makeup while staring into the mirror, but there is a certain amateur quality about the whole thing that makes it very hard to take her seriously, both as a rapper and as an alleged mistress.

Speaking of her “affair” with Jay, the second video below is an interview she gave over the weekend, in which she talked about how she and Jigga Man met, and how he wanted her phone number but she wouldn’t give it to him.
