Beyonce doesn't want nay bruises on Jay-Z's face

Fed up with Cristal champagne, ice and beautiful women, hip-hop star decided to make his debut in the gaming industry. While being "retired" from music, he features as an unlockable character in NBA Live.

But, much to the disappointment of his fellow rappers, (those that want a piece of him), he won't be appearing in the latest fighting game, Def Jam: Icon. Maybe he is against violence (yeah right, where was he born? Brooklyn if I recall correctly).

According to former Def Jam president, Kevin Liles, Jay-Z besides from being Beyonce's buddy/boyfriend/singing partner is an avid gamer. Where does he find the time? As resulted from Liles' statements, Jay-Z is more a NFL Madden fan and fighting is not a thing that he does. The guys over at Kotaku, where we got the news from, are not afraid to call him a wuss! (spot on!).

Anyway, for all those interested to know, Def Jam: Icon will be released only on next gen console, PS3 and Xbox 360 on March 15 of 2007, and the game will be developed by EA. Looks like this installment in the Def Jam fighting series will be less wrestling-orientated but will still have environmental damage.
