3GX and Youpark yesterday announced a collaboration that led to the launching of Dogandbonegames.com, a portal offering high-quality Java games for all those who want fun in their lives. The portal looks nice, it's easy navigable and, of course, the games are ordered by categories like Action, Adventure, Sports, Strategy etc. Furthermore, besides games that can be bought, there are also free titles, like 3D Golden Warriors and Burning Skies. The reason why Dogandbonesgames.com was created is to increase and improve the Java-based games content offering.

Umar Akram, founder of Youpark, said: "We felt that our Java customers were sometimes finding it difficult to track down Java games, so we decided to create the Dogandbonesgames brand to house a collection of high quality Java games all in one place where they are easy to find."

The new portal will supply games from developers like Meedia, Digital Chocolate, Happy Tube, Bluesphere, Player-one, Alten8 or Mearas. "This is a great opportunity for our Java games clients to reach their market", said Simon Weitzman, Director of 3GX. "We are pleased to be working with Youpark, with its reputation for providing excellent value-added content for users".

It seems that Java-based downloadable games are gaining more and more popularity and, according to GIA Analysts, by the year 2010 the global mobile gaming market will exceed $20 billion.

For those wanting to buy games from Dogandbonesgames.com, the prices are between ?1 and ?4 ($2 - $8). You can choose to download via SMS, via e-mail or directly to your desktop from portals like Dangaard, Dmoz, Yahoo directory and MSN directory. Titles that can be bought include FreeFall, StuntPlane, 4X4 Extreme Rally 2006 and Dennis the Menace - Catapult Master.

In conclusion, owners of Java-enabled phones will have from now on a portal where they can easily look for fun.
