Jason Priestley has a new memoir coming out (called somewhat unoriginally “Jason Priestley: A Memoir”) and, in excerpts obtained by Us Weekly, he has nothing but nasty things to say about former “Beverly Hills 90210” co-star Tori Spelling and her husband of 11 years Dean McDermott.

To make matters worse, said comments come at a time when Tori is accused by celebrity pundits of having faked the marriage crisis she’s now going through, after Dean was caught cheating and exposed in the press.

Word has it that she planted the cheating story in the media to land the reality show she’s now featured on, which – you guessed it – deals with her marriage crisis and her way of handling it.

Among talk of how there is nothing Tori wouldn’t say or do to make a buck, here’s Jason saying she’s so money-hungry that she actually sold his wedding invitation at a yard sale she organized some years ago, right after dad Aaron Spelling’s death, when she found out that she was to get under $1 million (€720,669) in the will.

“I happened to be at home watching the local news one night, something I rarely got to do. Tori Spelling’s yard sale made the broadcast that night. I saw my very own wedding invitation on the screen. Apparently, it had gone for five bucks, including a personal autograph by Tori. She sold my wedding invitation to a stranger,” Jason writes, as cited by the publication.

Dean too is just as bad, only in a slightly different way.

“I walked over, extended my hand and said ‘Hi Dean, Jason Priestley…’,” Jason writes of the first time they met. “He stared down at my hand, then back up at my face. No handshake… nothing… ‘Well. [Mutual friend] Tom Cavanaugh speaks highly of you,’ I said. ‘Oh yeah?’ Dean said aggressively. ‘Yeah, for some reason he seems to think you’re a nice guy.’ I turned and left. Haven’t spoken to him since.”

In the book, Jason also recalls what living with Brad Pitt was like and how they used to hold stinking contests, to see who could go longer without showering. Pitt always won. He also writes about Shannen Doherty and how much of a diva she was, which must come as little surprise to those who watched “90210” and learned of the rumors of what was really happening backstage.

So, it’s his comments about Tori and Dean that are getting the most attention online, mostly because they seem to be confirming reports making the rounds for weeks now: with these two, nothing is what it seems, as they have pretty much transformed their personal life into a commodity they can sell.
