Japanese magazines always come with various speculations about possible upcoming digital camera models from the most important players on the market, and the following makes no exception.

43rumors has posted an image from a Japanese magazine that comes with a few speculations about a possible Olympus PEN series interchangeable lens camera that could be called E-P7.

What's more interesting about this debate is that the editors are hoping that Olympus' “soon to be released” PEN E-P7 mirrorless model will feature a built-in electronic viewfinder. Moreover, the magazine also published a CG mockup of what the future Olympus PEN E-P7 might look like.

For the moment, there's no information about Olympus working on such a camera, but adding an EVF to a future PEN-series model might help future PEN cameras increase in popularity.

According to the latest financial results for Q3 of FY2014, Olympus has registered lower than expected sales volumes for the PEN series, but the strong OM-D sales managed to help the company reduce its operating loss considerably.
