14 DAY TRIAL // Now that we had our fun (and then some) with Kanye West’s official music video for “Bound 2,” starring none other than Kim Kardashian, it’s time to brace yourself for more hilarity, as James Franco and Seth Rogen teamed up for a brilliant spoof of the vid.
Because *it contains images and language that might offend, I won’t embed the spoof here, but you can see it on YouTube. For more fun, the video here is a side-by-side compilation of the two.
Suffice it to say that Seth plays Kim and, yes, he’s shirtless just like Kim. However, unlike her, he’s not been slimmed down in post-production, so there’s that.
Franco plays, of course, Kanye and he manages to replicate his gestures to a T, including his swagger and attitude.
The video includes, just like the original, lots of staring into the camera (it’s hilarious how you can tell the wind is hurting Seth’s eyes but he maintains the languid gaze for as long as he can), lots of ridiculous poses, plenty of cuddling and some kissing too.
This is clearly one of those cases when the spoof tops the original, if only for the fact that we knew Kanye and Kim were trying to be dead serious about it – and still came across as ridiculous.
