14 DAY TRIAL // If you’re a fan of the jailbreak Dev Teams and their work, and if you also happen to live in San Francisco, you should be really glad to know that all your jailbreak heroes will be present at the South San Francisco Conference Center on the 29th of September.
Affectionately dubbed WWJC (a spinoff relating to Apple’s own Worldwide Developers Conference), the next JailbreakCon will be held in San Francisco, California, land of some of the biggest technology companies out there.
And that includes Apple, makers of the iPhone, iPad, Macintosh, and everyone’s favorite portable media player - the iPod.
The organizers of this year’s JailbreakCon said, “Not wanting to be outdone by Apple, we are bringing WWJC to the beautiful San Francisco, and to be more precise, the South San Francisco Conference Center.”
“The venue its self is in prime location, situated 9 minutess from San Francisco’s airport, 16 minutes from the Heart of the city, 40 minutes from the home of Apple and 30 minutes from the Facebook and Twitter headquarters.”
“We love jailbreaking, we love the benefits it brings and we love the sense of community it bestowes upon us. But, we also love Apple, their work ethic, their loyalty toward their customers and the wonderful products they provide, so to hold our event at the home of Apple is a truly humbling experience.”
The event date is the 29th of September 2012. The organizers advise all attending to allow the weekend stay as they may be changes along the way, “but we can confirm the 29th as the event day,” according to their blog entry.
“We hope you all join us there and look forward to providing more updates and announcements as we proceed,” the organizers conclude.
