Tom Hiddleston, Mark Strong, and Ben Kingsley show why Hollywood always favors Brits

As announced yesterday, the 2014 Super Bowl ad for Jaguar was conceived as a treat for both car enthusiasts and true movie buffs. Directed by Oscar-winning Tom Hooper, the full commercial has been released online – and you can see it in full and in HD above.

Based on the idea (so very true, by the way) that Hollywood always uses Brits for its villains because, apparently, audiences can never get enough of them, the ad sees the three worldwide famous actors, Tom Hiddleston, Mark Strong, and Sir Ben Kingsley, do their best to explain why this came to happen.

Hiddleston and Strong, with Strong behind the wheel of a Jag and Hiddleston in a private helicopter, are racing through the city to get to the destination but, apparently, they’ve been had by Kingsley.

Hooper, whose previous credits include the critically acclaimed and commercially successful “Les Miserables” and “King’s Speech,” opted to do every scene without aid from CGI and it shows: the feel of the ad is luxurious, dangerous and, because of it, very alluring.

Just like one of the British villains, or a James Bond that had turned rogue. Enjoy!
