Jabra and Klipsch have teamed up to create the S5010, a speaker dock for mobile phones. Bringing the Jabra vision to create the perfect synthesis of function and form with the unmatched precision of the dynamic sound performances of Klipsch, the new speaker dock announces to be a great hit on the market.

Incorporating Hi-Fi quality acoustics by Klipsch Audio Technologies, the Jabra S5010 speaker was created for music lovers who store their music on a wide variety of devices and expect high quality sound. The Jabra S5010 delivers bass, detail and clarity not available in other speaker systems for mobile phones. It can be connected to two devices at once (for example a PC and music phone), through one of three different inputs, giving the user easy plug and play access to their digital music files from both devices.

The Jabra S5010 features dual 2.5-inch fiber-composite woofers in a ported enclosure. The speaker system is designed with a sleek black look and silver detailed finish. The Jabra S5010 ships with three connector cables: 2.5 mm, 3.5 mm and mini USB which plugs directly through the headphone jack of the desired audio device. The Jabra S5010 is designed so that the user can easily operate the phone and access its functionalities while playing music.

The S5010 is announced to be the most common portable music device, due to the increasing number of music-playing mobile phones. "Forecasts show that the number of mobile phones with music-playing capability will reach over 700 million units by 2008," said David Wood, senior vice president and general manager for Jabra North American operations. "The S5010 is the ideal product for those who wish to play and share their music from what will shortly become the most common portable music device. The great advantage of the S5010 speaker is its flexibility. It works with most all mobile phones, across brands, MP3 players, laptops and PCs."

The S5010 speaker dock carries a price tag of $149, and is in fact a lot cheaper than other similar devices.
