14 DAY TRIAL // Male admirers of Jeni “JWoww” Farley from MTV’s “Jersey Shore” reality series will probably be heartbroken over this: the star has just confirmed that she’s turned down the $400,000 from Playboy.
In September this year, the reality star confirmed ongoing rumors that she was in negotiations with the men’s mag for an upcoming spread, saying the deal was almost done.
Later reports suggested that she would stand to make as much as $400,000 for the spread if she played her cards right, with many voices saying she would go for the offer.
As she revealed on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show, JWoww will not be posing for the magazine anytime soon, MTV News reports.
However, while this may come as a sad news for her fans, there may be a silver lining to the cloud: JWoww hinted that she turned down the offer for something even better.
“I am not going to do Playboy in the near future,” JWoww told Seacrest. “But JWoww teased that she’d turned down the mag in favor of another offer,” MTV News points out.
“There is a better opportunity out there which everyone will probably see soon. That’s what I’m going to go with,” the reality star said.
Asked what could possibly qualify as a “better offer” compared to almost half a million for a single day’s work, Jeni kept mum. “You’ll have to wait and see,” she teased.
Similarly secretive she was when asked about whether she and “Jersey Shore” co-star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi were getting a reality show on their own.
Not that it’s not a possibility, JWoww again teased.
“That’s a wait and see. We’d love to do one, but nothing’s confirmed. We are moving in together, though. That is a guarantee,” she said in the same radio interview.
“Just to move in. She wants to get out of her house. I no longer like my house, so what better thing to do than move in together?” Farley said.
Until any announcements regarding the other offer and the possible spin-off with Snooki are made, fans can catch the “Jersey Shore” season finale on MTV, today (Thursday) at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
