A more than OK alternative for a high-res home cinema solution

After making their debut at the CEDIA expo earlier this year, little has been heard about JVC's line of Procision home projectors, but the maker has now finally started to send them out towards retailer’s shelves.

All the projector models feature certification for THX 3D sound as well as JVC's e-Shift technology, which enables them to upscale content to 3840x2160 resolution.

While not exactly 4K this is still about four times more than what we get from 1080p projectors, so if high-res is what you are after JVC’s Procision series will definitely be to your liking.

Their only downside? Well, pricing of course. Starting at $3,499 and going all the way up to $11,999 (2,614 to 8,965 EUR), these aren’t what I would call budget projectors, but considering their resolution I guess they’re OK.
