Beside the 3D Full HD Camcorder we've already talked about earlier, JVC brought plenty of other cool surprises at CES 2011, including here an entire new line of headphones, the Xtreme Xplosives, or XX, for short. What really sets this line apart from some of the other headphones released by JVC is their rather “aggressive” design, that should certainly prove to be quite attractive for those users looking for an audio solution that will help stand out in a crowd.

The new XX series from JVC includes, for the time being, three new models, namely an inner-ear headphone, on-ear model and an around-the-ear headphone, all of which provide a bass port for an impressive bass reproduction, accompanied by a a durable rubber protector for impact protection and to help withstand heavy use, and a gold-plated 3.5mm stereo plug.

The first model in the new series ins the in-ear HA-FX1X headphones, equipped with a 10mm diaphragm with neodymium magnet, and accompanied by three size silicone ear pieces, meant to provide not only an enhanced level of comfort during use, but also a higher level of background noise cancellation.

Next in line come the HA-S4X on-ear headband headphones that sport a 40mm diaphragm with neodymium magnet and ear pads that manage to enhance the sound isolation level (although don't expect any miracles from these things, since no active noise isolation technology is present).

Last, but certainly not least, come the around-the-ear HA-M5X headphones, whose design provides a better sound isolation level and comfort during use, while the 50mm diaphragm with neodymium magnet manages to deliver very good quality audio.

According to JVC, the new Xtreme Xplosives HA-FX1X, HA-S4X and HA-M5X headphones will be available in March 2011 for $29.95, $39.95 and $49.95, respectively, which are some pretty decent price points, all things considered.
