Accomplished writer JK Rowling, whose “Harry Potter” series made a bestseller and delighted children around the world, has now decided that it was high time to provide her kids with something we all dreamed of having at one point in our youth: a suspended playground.

Thus, the author announced that David and Mackenzie are soon to play in two tree houses fully equipped with towers, bridges swings and sliding pools.

However, being the environmentalists we are, what interests us is the fact that said playground will be built entirely out of cedar shingling and timber purchased from sustainably managed forests.

Now, tree houses are by their very nature environmentally-friendly pieces of architecture, but it seems to us that JK Rowling might just be taking things to a whole other green-level.

Thus, rumor has it that this wooden playground will cost the writer about ₤150,000 (approximately $232,000 / €192,000).
