New cool gear from JBL, soothing your ears

The Reference headphones series was launched by JBL last year and it was about time to receive new members, namely the 420 and 610 models, two completely new headsets that not only carry on the legendary quality but also come with neater, improved design for more discerning customers.

Both Reference 420 and 610 models come with first-class comfort and top-shelf acoustic characteristics that will make your listening experience more pleasurable and your life better.

The 420 model has been designed for traveling purposes as it comes with a lightweight design sporting 170 grams only; at the same time their make is quite rugged and is also capable of enduring a tough handling and nasty falls; you'll be enjoying these neat headphones for a long time without any fear of tearing down and failing you. The Reference 420 headset is the ideal match for your portable players, CD, MD or MP3 (including iPod) and it can also be used with computers or other audio signal sources.

On the other hand the 610 is a completely different thing as we're talking wireless convenience: they are Bluetooth headphones, connectible with any similar wireless-capable device and offering you the freedom of movement you have been looking for. In case you own an iPod, the JBL Reference 610 headset will prove its extensive design coolness as it sports integrated controls to let you interact with the iPod in your pocket: volume, track selection, play and pause are available directly on the headset for incredible handiness. And if you don't have Bluetooth connectivity, you can run the Reference 610 with a common cable.

The Reference 420 and 610 models sport a price around $200 each and even though the 610 was announced for November, there are web locations claiming they already ship this headset.
