J.P. Morgan has unveiled a new application for iPad users - J.P. Morgan Research. The app gives clients instant access to the investment bank’s award-winning research from the convenience of their tablet computers, the leader in investment research announced today.

According to J.P. Morgan, their new iOS app provides clients with detailed reports and analysis from more than 1,000 analysts on economic indicators, markets, companies and asset classes around the world.

Users will be able to access content offline and receive instant alerts when new content they pre select becomes available, a unique feature that isn’t found on other research apps in its class, J.P. Morgan said.

“This innovative new app delivers our global franchise on an exciting new platform,” said Nick O’Donohoe, Global Head of Research at J.P. Morgan. “In this fast paced environment, we are committed to ensuring our clients can access ideas and information − even when on the go.”

A list of key benefitd is offered, with J.P. Morgan highlighting the following features:

- Customizable views of research across all asset classes - Offline access to any previously read research - Instant notification of new research that is of interest to the user - The ability to open research in preferred document readers and to email content directly from the app - Briefcase functionality to permanently store content offline
