The Mountain View company finally debuted the presentation tool expected by the entire web which was first rumored a long time ago when the users were talking about an Office suite prepared by Google. First, it was speculated that this new presentation tool will be named Presently but Google didn't say a thing about the codename of the application. What's most important is that this new solution allows you to create online presentations, using an interface similar with PowerPoint and share and collaborate on them with other Internet users.

The new utility has almost the same functions as Docs or Spreadsheets but obviously related to the presentation files. According to Attila Bodis, Software Engineer, the users can connect through Google Talk and communicate about presentation-related matters. Obviously, the solution is already included in Google Apps, the suite of utilities which is described as the best competitor for Microsoft Office. In addition, the presentation feature is available in 25 languages.

"Starting today, presentations -- whether imported from existing files or created using the new slide editor -- are listed alongside documents and spreadsheets in the Google Docs document list. They can be edited, shared, and published using the familiar Google Docs interface, with several collaborators working on a slide deck simultaneously, in real time. When it's time to present, participants can simply click a link to follow along as the presenter takes the audience through the slideshow," the Google employee wrote on the official blog of the service.

If you want to create a presentation using the new utility powered by Google, visit the official page of Docs & Spreadsheets, login into your account and click on the 'New' button. Then, choose 'Presentation' and have a happy editing. Have a look at the following clip to learn more about the presentation tool recently introduced in the Google offering:
