Developer It's About Time has announced it will release "It's About Time to learn iPhone." The tool is supposed to teach new iPhone owners how to use their handsets through helpful tips and tricks featuring click-to-learn controls. The product is slated for launch in Apple Retail Stores across the U.S. on Monday, June 23, MacsimumNews is reporting.

The application features a guy named Saied who is your virtual instructor. Cool, huh? He shows you how to do something on iPhone and you can instantly try it out on the virtual iPhone built right within the learning tool - sort of like how iPhone developers do when trying out their apps in the iPhone simulator Apple provides with its SDK and iPhone 2.0.

"We rebuilt the entire iPhone so that after you are taught how to do something, you can try it on the virtual iPhone on your Mac or PC and the learning tool will let you whether you did it right or wrong," Saied Ghaffari, CEO at It's About Time, told MacsimumNews. "It's really cool and fun. We've added one last killer feature to get people even more excited, Auto-Update, which is a major enhancement in learning," he added.

"I've shown our demo to a few iPhone early adopters and they have been shocked by how many things they never knew about iPhone," Saied said. "With over 3 hours of teaching, a new intuitive user interface we call 'Click to Learn,' and of course, all of it being completely interactive so you can try it yourself on Mac or PC, we think 'It's About Time to learn iPhone' is going to help so many Apple customers - from brand new to the iPhone savvy. Please visit us at our Macworld booth near Dr. Bott for a hands-on demo."

A demo version of the iPhone learning tool is available. Similar tools for learning how to properly switch to Mac and how to use Apple's iPhoto are also up for grabs, from the same developer.

It's About Time to learn iPhone requires an Intel Mac 1.83GHz Core Duo, or a G4 1.42GHz or faster. A minimum 512MB of memory is also required.
