Israel’s vital systems, including water, power and banking systems, are constantly targeted by cyberattacks launched by Iran and its allies, specifically Lebanon and Palestine.

According to NBC News, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has revealed that the number of cyberattacks coming from Iran has increased considerably over the past few months.

“These attacks are carried out directly by Iran and through its proxies, Hamas and Hezbollah,” Netanyahu said at a conference on cyber warfare.

The official has said that the attacks are carried out “non-stop,” but the public rarely hears about them because most of them are mitigated.

We’ve recently learned that the US wants to help its allies defend themselves against cyberattacks coming from Iran and North Korea.

Some Israeli officials even claim to possess evidence that North Korea and Iran are collaborating on developing cyber weapons, but US officials don’t seem to know anything about such a cooperation.
