A recent opinion came to our attention, concerning Nintendo's upcoming Wii release. French ActuJV blog owner has some information that raises controversy concerning Wii's graphical potential. While the info is not yet confirmed, the writer claims his un-named inside source is to be trusted.

While Nintendo presented quite some Wii trailers recently, including the ones for Bwii and Mario Strikers: Charged, the public could notice the medium quality graphics associated with those games. While no Mario game could wish for more, there is always a question of the console's future possibilities when battling it out with the next-gen consoles. Here's where ActuJV comes in and takes the microphone. Perhaps to capture even more attention as we approach a final launch date, rumor has it Nintendo will take the gaming world by storm by revealing the real goods behind their system.

The bloger says Nintendo has been playing hide and seek all along, by showing trailers with deliberately downgraded graphics compared to what Wii can actually do. Supposedly it's all an elaborate marketing trick, to create an element of surprise for Nintendo's next major media event, New York City, on September 14. The company will show off Wii graphics that are "of a quality far exceeding the Xbox", shocking us all. Worn out speculation or innovative thinking? While debates about the video quality of their works have been going on for some time, it's certainly true Nintendo hides things from the fans. There won't be long until the truth comes out prior to the much awaited Wii launch.
