Rumors might be true if we analyze the whole situation

Generally, we don't pay too much attention to rumors that are solely based on images, since we all know how easy it is to create an image that looks authentic. But if we are to judge the whole situation keeping an eye on the noob.com website (the personal website of Mortal Kombat creator and team leader Ed Boon), things seem to start having sense. And we're really ready to believe them, because if they are true, we're going to receive a huge surprise from Midway, with their next iteration of Mortal Kombat.

Here is the amazing story: earlier today (actually, just a little after midnight), Mortalkombatonline website has posted an image on their website, claiming that it was sent by a Midway inside source and it will be the first promotional image for the new Mortal Kombat game (called Mortal Kombat 8 until now). It wouldn't have been such a big surprise unless the image shows Sub Zero and Batman looking ready to start a fight. And this is absolute madness!

Even more, the website claims that Midway has confirmed them that officially, the next MK game will be called Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe. This means that we'll take part in fights like Sub Zero vs. Superman, Sheeva vs. Catwoman and so on! We really hope they're not lying!

And we would've been inclined to believe they are lying since such a rumor is quite hard to believe, but something that can be considered an unofficial confirmation appeared today on the Internet. It is the noob.com website we told you earlier about - Ed Boon's website that has been down since 2002. Last month it began to slowly get back to life and got through a series of changes along the way.

At the moment, a new picture has appeared on the website - a blurry Scorpion picture - that has written a scrambled code: "Gemorab Stifl Wormotor". After 20-so minutes of thinking you'll realize that it might be saying "Embargo lifts tomorrow". This follows a kind of crossword puzzle that was posted at the beginning of the month, where words like "freeze, spear or teleport" were found by fans. These are definitely hints about the new Mortal Kombat game and we're sure more details will arise soon (maybe tomorrow?)

However, if we are to analyze a little the website's logo, we can see that two worlds are connected by a yellow timeline and somewhere near the middle, the Mortal Kombat logo appears. Of course, this could have no connection to the DC Universe, but following these latest rumors, it's not the case. We're really excited and curious at the same time. Stop the enigmas, Ed, give us something!
