Empty Factory and Wigwag have released Invoy, a simple and easy-to-use invoicing application for Mac OS X users. Invoy sports a nifty UI, multi-currency support, exports your data to Excel or Numbers (CSV Format), integrates with Address Book and creates invoices, cash sales, credit memos, debit memos and more.

"We've been using a Windows box to do our invoicing, and beeing [sic] Mac users and fans, we are very ashamed of it. We wanted to use our Mac, but none of the existent invoicing apps were satisfying, so we rolled up our sleeves and coded our own, simple and powerful solution. Finally invoicing is easy on Mac."

Main features of Invoy, according to Empty Factory, include:

- Beautiful and easy-to-use interface. - Creates several documents - Invoices, Cash Sales, Credit Memos, Debit Memos and more. - Print, Preview, PDF or E-mail your documents. - Multi-currency support. - Exports your data to Excel or Numbers (CSV Format). - Address Book integration. - Runs on Tiger and screams on Leopard.

Interested parties should note that if their currency or document output language is not available for their respective country, they should contact the developers. "We'll be happy to include it in the next version," Empty Factory says. Also, for Portuguese users, Invoy supports SAFT-PT and is localized in Portuguese.

The 15-day free trial version, available here on our website, has all features active. When the trial period expires, you can purchase a license to continue using the software. However, if you like Invoy, you should consider buying it soon, to benefit from the introductory price (?25). "This will not last for long," the developer says.

Invoy requires Mac OS X 10.4.9 and higher (Mac OS X 10.5.2 or higher recommended). Since the app is a Universal Binary, Invoy runs natively on both PowerPC- and Intel- based Macs.
