The same phone, different color

Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia initially announced that its flagship touchscreen model Nokia 5800 XpressMusic would come to the market in three color versions, and it seems that it finally keeps its word on that. While the red and blue versions are already available on the market, now we learn that a black version with a grey line is going to hit the shelves as well.

The new color version of the device has been caught on camera, which makes things almost official now. The photos show the handset featuring silver stripes (previous models came with blue or red ones), which one could call either Black (the third version announced by Nokia), Black/Silver, or Grey. All in all, they still show a Nokia 5800 XpressMusic that has turned into a more serious device.

For what it's worth, it seems that its looks are the only thing that has changed, so one should be able to find under the new cover the same mobile phone sporting a wide range of multimedia features that we have grown accustomed with.

The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic still comes around with the well-known 3.2-inch touchscreen display, along with the Wi-Fi support and the built-in GPS receiver, while the great music player and the powerful stereo speakers are also there. Not to mention the rest of the specs that turned it into one of the most desirable handsets on the market, such as the microSD memory card slot with support for up to 16GB of additional storage, the 3.15-megapixel photo snapper with Carl Zeiss optics, auto focus and LED flash, messaging capabilities, and more.

In addition, it seems that the phone maker hasn't changed the price of the device either, so the new grey Nokia 5800 XpressMusic is available at the Nokia UK store for 249 GBP (around 280 Euros or 370 US dollars), the same price sported by its different-color siblings.
