The smartphones are available in India for under Rs 4,000

Good news for Android fans in India, as local OEM Intex has just unveiled two new very cheap handsets, the Aqua 3G Pro and Aqua 3G Strong.

Both smartphones are priced under Rs 4,000 and customers that buy them will also receive 1-year one-time screen breakage warranty, so if you break your phone's display in the first year from when you purchased it, Intex will replace it for free.

In case you're wondering why would Intex would make such an offer to those buying the Aqua 3G Pro or Aquad 3G Strong, then you should know that they are coming with Corning Gorilla Glass displays.

Customers will soon be able to purchase the Intex Aqua 3G Pro and Aqua 3G Strong for Rs 3,666 ($57 / €51) and Rs 3,333 ($52 / €47), respectively.

Both will be available in Black, Silver and Champagne colors

Moving on to specs, both smartphones will ship with Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system right out of the box, AndroidOS reports.

In addition, they will be powered by 1GHz single-core Spreadtrum SC7715 processors. The Aqua 3G Pro will pack 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory, while the Aqua 3G Strong will be equipped with only 256MB of RAM and 512MB of storage.

The good news is both smartphone offers microSD card slot for memory expansion, as well as dual-SIM support.

As mentioned earlier, Intex's cheap smartphones sport 4-inch capacitive touchscreen displays that support 480 x 800 pixels resolution and feature Corning Gorilla Glass coating.

It's also worth mentioning that the smartphones pack 2-megapixel cameras on the back, VGA front-facing cameras, as well as 3G connectivity.
