Intel tried offering some advantageous prices for its Bay Trail-T processor range according to the company standards, but they proved to be no match for the prices of ARM-based quad-core processors, even with the 10% applied discount for mass sales.

The chip manufacturer is expected to price its offerings between $15-20 / €11-15, which means Intel will axe prices with about $12 / €9.
