Ultrabooks seem to have captured the attention of a lot of customers these days and PC manufacturers are trying to respond to the demand. Intel too might soon have a surprise for us in this department.

The chip maker has posted a mysterious and elusive question on its Twitter account accompanied by a photograph. The tech giant asks “Is this a tablet or a laptop?” and subsequently answers “Yes.”

The picture above this post shows a device being used in tablet mode, but you can clearly see it’s a slim Ultrabook-type 2-in-1 hybrid. So the question arises, is Intel trying to tease a new device here or is this an enigmatic marketing campaign to try and sell one of its chip-powered devices?

By the looks of it, the convertible could even turn out to be the Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11S or maybe the ASUS Transformer Book T100. Nevertheless it would be pretty exciting to see a new Intel-powered Utrabook in the wild, and we can’t help but wonder which manufacturer will take on the endeavor?
