They will be out later this year, but still in the first half of 2014

Intel already has some Bay Trail CPUs, or rather SoCs (system-on-chip devices) used in low-end PCs, tablets, etc. The company is still making more though.

In fact, according to an Emdoor OEM manufacturer roadmap (padnews.cn published it), some cheaper Bay Trail chips will come out soon. Well, soon meaning the first half of the year.

Clearly, Intel wants the time between now and the “Cherry Trail” announcement in Q4 2014 to be fully used.

In the first quarter, the Atom Z3735D and Z3735E will debut, with to be used in devices priced at $149 - $199 / €149 - €199.

There will be a third chip too, the Atom Z3775D. It will be a used in $200 / €200 slates (or more expensive ones) and will be run by Windows 8 and Android devices.

As for the second quarter, it will welcome chips suited for $99 - $149 / €99 - €149 units, called Atom Z3735F and Z3735G. They might even take as long as the start of the third quarter to show up.

Update January 25: Fixed the prices. They are the tags of the target devices, not of the chips themselves.
