Yesterday, we reported that Intel has updated its price list to feature four new ultra-low voltage processors based on the Sandy Bridge architecture and today we get to see these aren't the last CPUs to be introduced by the Santa Clara chip giant this quarter, as the company has now listed two new other SKUs.

The two processors to make their way in Intel's ARK database are the Pentium 957 and Core i5-2467M. Both of these are ultra-low voltage parts with a 17W TDP and use the BGA packaging.

Starting with the least powerful of the two models, the Pentium 957, this uses a dual-core design and operates at 1.2GHz.

The two cores are paired together with 2MB of Level 3 cache memory as well as with an Intel HD graphics core that has a base frequency of 350MHz. This can be boosted to 800MHz when the situation demands it.

Unlike the previous P6000-series Pentium processors based on the Westmere architecture, the 957 does support the VT-x virtualization instructions, which could make it an interesting option for some users.

Moving to the faster Core i5-2467M, this also has two computing cores, but, this time, the chip can process up to four threads simultaneously as it support the HyperThreading technology.

Furthermore, Turbo Boost is also included, so the CPU can raise its base frequency from the stock 1.6 GHz up to 2.3 GHz.

Other CPU features include 3MB of Level 3 cache, an updated Intel HD 3000 on-die GPU with support for Wireless Display, Quick Sync Video, InTru 3D and a few other technologies, as well as support for the AVX and AES-NI instruction sets.

Prices for the two chips Sandy Bridge are not available at this time, but we do know that the i5-2467M will be shipped in Samsung NP900X3A-B01US Series 9 notebook.

Outside of these two ULV processors, Intel has also made official the embedded Celeron 847E and B810E, as well as the consumer-class Celeron B800, Pentium B940 and B950. All of these CPUs were covered previously. (via CPU-World)
