Inovateus Solar LLC, one of the most important enterprises which operates on the market of solar power, has announced its partnership with GE Energy Industrial Solutions. The new deal implies that the company will become the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for solar carpot charging stations. Both enterprises hope to improve their strategies in order to make a difference which will positively influence the future of electric vehicles.

The announcement was made on October 5, at the Greenbuild Conference and Expo hosted in Toronto, Ontario. The new formed partnership plans to support the development of an installation of 100-kilowatt solar carport, which is located in Plainville, Connecticut. The successful strategies which were built around the entire carport project, designed especially for electric vehicles, made this initiative expand, becoming one of the most significant in North America.

The innovative kind of solar charging station which the two major companies are trying to improve will be released on the market following the ambitious objective of charging up to 13 electric cars a day. Also, the power should be able supply the overhead lighting for the parking lot.

The connection between GE Industrial Solutions and Inovateus Solar LLC, announced at Greenbuild Conference, has led to the development of scalable engineering alternatives which are already functional.

Due to their partnership, the two enterprises managed to introduce on the market small private lots designed with 5 kW power ratings, which are able to charge two to four vehicles, and also large commercial lots equipped with 250 kW power ratings, that manage to provide enough power for 17 to 19 cars per daily.

Both GE and Inovateus select their customers from very different fields of activities. Their products are designed to provide solar carport solutions to many facilities, such as office buildings, sports centers or universities. The companies offer very good deals and opportunities for the enterprises and individuals who show interest in their services.

"Solar carports with electric vehicle chargers offer a win-win opportunity for customers with reduced energy for building owners, revenue opportunities from the sale of Solar Renewable Energy Credits to brokers, and potential tax credits and incentives from federal, state, and local governments," stated General Manager of Marketing for GE Energy Industrial Solutions, Chris Bowler.

Representatives from the two partner enterprises think that their innovative strategies will act as a game changer on the market of solar energy. In their opinion, future actions will certainly influence the development of electric cars. At the Greenbuild conference, both CEOs seemed very confident that their partnership will represent a successful collaboration.

"We believe this new agreement between GE and Inovateus to expand the use of solar charging carports with a scalable solution is a real game changer for solar energy and the future of electric cars. Bringing power back to the grid and saving thousands of dollars for companies, these carports are more than just charging stations," declared President of Inovateus Solar, T.J. Kanczuzewski
