14 DAY TRIAL // Inoreader is a well-known RSS & news reader client for Android and iOS devices. Developed by Innologica, the application has jut made its debut on Windows Phone, the third ranked mobile operating system available on the market.
“We know that there are many third-party mobile apps that let you use your Inoreader account, but we always prefer to give users the option to use apps that recreate the rich functionality Inoreader offers,” developers say in a blog post.
“We’re already doing this with our Android and iOS apps and today marks a new important addition to this family, the Inoreader app for Windows Phone!” they add.
The reason developers have decided to bring their application to Windows Phone is the fact that Microsoft's mobile platform has a steady fan base. On top of that, they have received many requests to bring Inoreader to Windows Phone.
A valid Inoreader account is required
In order to take advantage of Inoreader's features, you will need to log in with your account and you'll immediately have access to your articles, folders, starred articles, and tags.
In addition, the application allows users to manage and share articles, star, tag, mark as unread or share on social media any piece of content in the Inoreader.
You can also monitor news about specific keywords or even save pages from the web to view them later, as well as subscribe to social feeds.
The application has everything it needs for an initial release, but developers promise that more features and improvements will be added in the coming updates.
You can now download Inoreader for Windows Phone for free via Windows Phone Store. The application should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Windows Phone 8.1.
Keep in mind that, for the time being, Inoreader does not seem to support Windows 10 Mobile Technical Preview, so you shouldn't try to install it yet if you're a Windows Insider.
