Pinger, Inc. just introduced Pingercast, a new mobile phone voice marketing service for media companies, political candidates, artists or anyone wanting to create a more personal relationship with supporters. Pingercast is an opt-in mobile device promotional tool used to send rich audio content directly to other mobile phones, similarly to the group SMS sending.

"The Pingercast service enables marketers to get to difficult to reach consumers in a very personal way, on their mobile phone," said Greg Woock, Chief Executive Officer of Pinger. "When you hear John's messages, it feels like he's talking directly to you. Compared to a 160 character text message, Pingercast messages enable senders to share up to five minutes of audio. The Pingercast service is for any marketer with audio content, whether it's movies, musicians, or anyone wishing to talk to a group in their own voice."

The new Pingercast service allows customers to influence their supporters or fans to help in spreading their message. Any voice message sent through Pingercast can be forwarded to friends, who can sign up for receiving future updates directly on their handsets. The service is more personal than text sending, as it sends voice messages, and more useful than voicemail, since there is no ringing nor lengthy prompts.

Pinger collaborates with customers to collect names, creating branded Flash or HTML widgets appropriate for websites or MySpace pages, so anyone can subscribe with ease. Also, users can sign up via a Facebook application or by sending an SMS with a shortcode. Moreover, the Pingercast service allow users and content owners to connect in convenient places.

The mobile voice messaging platform from Pinger offers marketers all the data they need for a successful Pingercast campaign. The effectiveness of the sent messages can be tested by marketers with the help of Pinger's analytics that can offer detailed information about listen, reply or forward rates.
