It's the second time this year when the same department gets hacked

The section of UCLA's official website that belongs to the Department of Psychology was hacked by a cybercriminal who calls himself Inj3ctor.

The published data contains applications submitted by users, emails, addresses, names and credentials, the Cyberwarnews reports. The document also contains passwords, two of which belong to website administrators, but fortunately, they're not in plain text.

The attacker also published some information that helped him access the database. He highlighted the open ports and the versions of the services he relied on to hack the site.

DataBreaches reports that this is not the first time when the same department from UCLA suffers a data breach. In July 2011 they also fell victims to such an attack, but it seem as they didn't learn from the first incident.

Maybe that's why hackers keep attacking them, to show that website security is a serious matter.
