Motorola has just announced that they are planning to expand the MOTOwi4 service, which provides wireless and networking coverage. The plan is to bring these possibilities to the indoor spaces too from now on, in the form of WLAN Enterprise.

This service opens the door to a wide range of possibilities for its users. Internet access at high performances is now available in a wider space, making it easy to use and more at reach for anyone. "Now, only Motorola can provide the expertise to deliver mobility both indoor and outdoors, providing people with access to required information wherever they may be - even when they are moving. That's true enterprise mobility", said Kathy Paladino, president of Motorola Enterprise Mobility business.

Motorola currently offers WLAN solutions that make user mobility possible both indoors and also in campuses and well delimited outdoor spaces. The Enterprise WLAN portfolio includes full-function and mesh access points, wireless switches and also radio frequency switches. What makes this service extremely reliable is that it is available in up to 3,000 access points.

Such a service might very well prove useful for a wide range of users that rely on the mobile Internet use at any time. "The breadth and depth of the Enterprise WLAN portfolio provides indoor mobility solutions and opportunities across all market segments - carpeted offices, healthcare, warehousing and distribution, manufacturing, education, retail and government. With the sky literally the limit for outdoor, Motorola's comprehensive wireless solutions makes end-to-end now end-to-endless", further said Paladino.

The wi4 indoor portfolio comes as an expansion to the MOTOwi4 portfolio. It uses widespread access of the power grid in order to make IP connectivity possible by using the electrical lines and thus transforming the entire building into a huge communications network. This makes it possible for any users to profit from high-speed wireless broadband services and enables their communication with other fixed and mobile users.
