InFocus seems to be quite keen on making a name for itself on the digital projectors' market, as it has come up with quite a large number of such products over the past few months. And the company's latest announcement refers to no less than three such devices, namely the IN35, IN35W and IN37 models, which feature DLP technology from Texas Instruments and the BrilliantColor technology developed by InFocus.

For years, digital projectors have utilized the same color technology based on a color gamut defined by three primary colors - red, green and blue. But now, with new BrilliantColor technology, the InFocus IN35, IN35W and IN37 DLP Projectors process as many as six separate colors - red , green, blue, yellow, cyan and white. The result is a screen image that features up to a 50% improvement in color brightness.

This new InFocus projector lineup starts at 2500 ANSI lumens for the IN35 and IN35W and increases to 3000 ANSI lumens for the IN37. The IN35 and IN37 feature a native XGA (1024 x 768) resolution, with the IN35W offering a new WXGA (1280 x 800) wide resolution format. These three new 5lb (2.26-kg), portable projectors provide a very crisp 1400:1 contrast ratio as well as a host of enhanced connectivity options.

All three InFocus projectors combine the reliability of DLP with BrilliantColor technology and competitive pricing. Furthermore, like their predecessors, this new platform of InFocus projectors offer seamless image adjustment, extreme vertical and horizontal keystone correction, enhanced connectivity, a filter-free design for 24-hour operation compatibility and one of the industry's easiest to use menu systems and keypads.

"We are very excited about the announcement of our newest platform of DLP Projectors featuring BrilliantColor technology," commented David Woolf, Senior Director of Product Management at InFocus. "The IN35, IN35W and IN37 set the standard for power, performance and image quality that future conference and meeting room projectors will be measured against," Woolf concluded.

The three new projectors from InFocus, namely the Work Big IN35, IN35W and IN37 models, will be available in November with prices starting at $1,099 and up to 1400 US dollars, which makes them some rather affordable models, at least compared to other similar products available on the market.
