Eidos and Pyro are behind the game

Imperial Glory, the game developed by Pyro Studios (developer of Commandos and Pretorians) will be a 19 century saga where players will be able to lead into battle nations like: Great Britain, France, Russia and Prussia.

Each nation will have its own characteristics, and the battles will be fought on land and see, but the economic components will also play a crucial role in the development of nations.

Pyro has implemented a turn based management model, but the battles will be realtime.

As the nations come close to the world wide domination, gamers will have access to 90 advanced technologies to maintain the supremacy of the European continent. All buildings and units are with historical accuracy and you will have access to major battles of those times.

Imperial Glory depicts the period at the end of the French Empire led by Napoleon and the turmoil period that followed. Leaders of the five nations will be historical figures like: Napoleon, Wellington, Blucher or Kutusof.

The faith of the nations will depend on the success combination of military power, economy and diplo,acy.

Imperial Glory will also have a multiplayer component in which players will be able to prove their military abilities.

The game's launching date is May 17.
