Today, game publisher Immanitas Entertainment has officially announced the immediate availability of a new title for devices running under Google’s Android operating system, namely The Time Trap.

This is a nifty Sudoku puzzle game that was priced at €0.89 / $0.99 / £0.69, and which poses a new challenge for gamers, as there will be complete number series placed into empty fields, and not single numbers.

“The different long number series are already available in a predetermined amount and can be placed into the playing field horizontally as well as vertically,” the company explains.

“You have to skillfully cross the number runs to cover all the fields. But careful, there are more number series available than necessary.”

However, users will still have to integrate all the predetermined number series, which is possible by piecing the number series together in such a manner that the remaining control number series can also be placed.

There are 30 puzzles with different levels of difficulty for users to enjoy in this application. In order to complete a level, the player will have to place all the available number series, the company also explains.

Just as in crossword, users will be able to place numbers both horizontally and vertically, and each crossing pair of numbers will need to have the same digit in the cell of their intersection.

“Don't be surprised, if after filling in all of the free cells you still have unused numbers. They are check numbers. If the game field was filled correctly, you may find them in one of the columns or rows of the game field,” the game’s description reads.

“After this you will need to place them in the appropriate position. You need to place ALL rows to finish the level!”

The mobile game was made available in German and English, and can be downloaded and installed on any smartphone that runs under Android 2.2 or newer. It is listed on this page on Softpedia.
