After USB became a worldwide standard it was the turn of USB flash drives to become "famous". At the beginning, they were pretty bulky and slow, and of course, their size and price was fairly high. After it became a trend, flash memory prices began to fall, and more and more people found USB drives useful for transferring data, either for personal or professional use. Every day USB drives are launched over the world, but few of them get popular.

A good example is Imation, which launched the next generation of its popular USB 2.0 Swivel Flash Drive, the Swivel Pro Flash Drive with enhancements designed to make transporting and sharing large files to and from work easier.

The new Imation Swivel Pro features the "never lose" swivel cap design that made the drive popular among with users and also includes enhanced features, such as an improved "one step" swivel cap feature that swivels and snaps into place. The device offers a 50% increase in read speed, a blue LED light that shows when data transfer are made, and is capable of reading files at 12MB per second.

The Imation Swivel Pro Flash Drive is about the size of an AA-battery, weighs less than 15 grams and is available at prices ranging from US$24.99 to US$199.99.
